30 Day Anime Challenge Day 28: Do You Share Your Anime Interest with Anyone?

I actually do. A number of my friends like anime, and it’s always nice when your friends share a common interest. That means you have another topic to talk about and with anime being such a vast medium, there’s never a shortage of things to talk about. There’s potential to grow and explore the world together. Now, even though my friends and sister like anime, I don’t think any of them have consumed as much as I have. This isn’t my way of bragging or a “Haha, I’ve experienced something you haven’t”, it’s just when certain anime titles come up in conversation I’m the only one who knows. On the flip side, it’s also a good thing because I can recommend (and am usually the source of recommendation) anime series to them from the classics to the currently airing.

We also go to conventions together and going outside with people you like makes the experience much more enjoyable. I’m also a sociable guy so I find watching anime with others makes the time more entertaining. Anime does like to exalt friendship so what a way to deepen a bond with someone y’know? Of course I’d still be friends with them if they didn’t like anime, but anime is a passionate hobby of mine.

Note: If you’re reading this and have a MAL profile, you can add mine here. I consider you a friend and we share an interest in anime so it only makes sense we have another way of contacting each other, right? 🙂 Actually, just let me know what yours is ’cause my friend request button is disabled lol.

      1. Sure thing. Some of them know about the series I’ve watched or at least interested in watching some of them. I do feel glad that I got some people into Shinesman, Haibane Renmei, Kimba the White Lion, and The Place Promised In Our Early Days to name a few.
